SoulStalham14Sept450It was a day of goals, goals, goals in the Norfolk Christian Football league on Saturday October 18.

An incredible 47 goals were scored in just five games in the Men’s Division. Leaders NCBC put 14 past Cringleford without reply. Not to be outdone, second placed Soul Church also scored 14 without reply against mid-table Lighthouse. UEA stay third with a 4-1 win against Heartsease Lane Sewell. Level on points with UEA are St Johns after a 6-3 win against Kings United. The tightest game of the day was still a five-goal thriller, with Kings Palace beating Stalham Baptist 3-2.
 
In the Under-16 youth league, Heigham Park Rangers Eagles lead the table with a 6-0 win against bottom-of-the-table Kings Athletic. Second-placed St Johns United matched the result with a 6-0 win of their own against Heigham Park Rangers Hawks. Brooke Adventurers won 5-3 against Worstead Wolves to go third while Lighthouse White and Lighthouse Green shared the points with a 2-2 draw.
 
In the Under-14 youth league, the surprise of the day came when leaders Heartsease Youth White dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw with Lighthouse. ENYP took advantage with a 6-1 win against Heigham Park Rangers to go second.
 
In the Under-12 youth league, leaders Lighthouse kept their 100% record with a narrow 1-0 win against St Johns. Stoke United completed a comprehensive 8-1 win against Heigham Park Rangers.
