John celebrates 50-year faith journey with free e-book

Norfolk evangelist, author and businessman John Wright, now in his 50th year of Christian ministry, has never tired of gathering and publishing stories of what he calls ‘the adventure of living in power of the Holy Spirit.’

John’s newest book, entitled The Road from Egypt, has inspiring stories – old and new - of God’s intervention in people’s lives, including many from Norfolk.  This is the fifth in John’s “Road” series of true-life testimony books which feature a fresh story on almost every page.

The series began with The Desert Road, which records "miracle stories, happening today to inspire us 'to walk at Jesus walked.' "

In his introduction to the book, Lord Elton, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords, says: "This is an extraordinary book  . . . a glorious patchwork quilt . . . the great variety of insights into the work of the Holy Spirit will speak compellingly to many."

In gratitude for God’s blessings during his 50-year journey as a Christian, John is offering his latest book free as an electronic e-book.  This can be easily downloaded to your computer – simply email John at Branch Press – see details below.

The Dean of Norwich, the Very Rev Jane Hedges, commends John Wright as a 'caring and compassionate evangelist' and hopes readers will be inspired by the stories in John’s latest book.

Among the many Norfolk stories in the book we read how the late Father David Broome from Stoke Holy Cross prophesied at Kelling hospital; how Rev Ian Dyble from St Thomas, Norwich,  experienced a miracle in India; how Rev David Gosling from St Andrews, Norwich was helped by angels; how the body of the late Faith Nainby, the wife of the late Rev John Nainby, from Silver Road Baptist Church, Norwich, was found to be incorruptible.

All this, of course, with an account of the vision experienced by the remarkable Lady Julian of Norwich (1342-1416), whose book, Revelations of Divine Love, was the first book in the English language known to have been written by a woman.

John and his wife Susan live at Kirby Bedon and have four sons and a daughter who all love Jesus. John is a Lay Reader, a Member of the College of Evangelists Emeritus, and an International Director of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship.  John delights “to teach churches how to speak to strangers in the power of the Spirit with signs and wonders”.
