NorwichCityHall640Norwich group prays for transformational revival

The next monthly meeting of ‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ in Norwich on October 15 will build on the plan to strategically pray for the city.

‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ continues to build upon the specialist teaching of Revd Dr Alistair Petrie (after his three visits in 2015, 2016 and 2017), and has developed a ministry that combines socio-historical research with informed prayer-walking and a continuing discipline of humbly seeking the Lord for fresh insight.

On Monday 15th, the group will be looking at feedback that’s offered by those who volunteered to take up last month’s prayer-walking challenge, as it is hoped this will add further insight to the ongoing task of strategic praying for the city.

Nigel Fox reports:

“The small prayer group that I’m privileged to be part of has already been witnessing some encouraging responses to our praying. We continue to meet regularly to develop strategic praying for Norwich and the region, and are ready to step forward in that ministry.”

“The scene is shifting. We live in times of significant change and great potential, with so much need becoming self-evident all around us. It is now a year since we announced we would see signs of God at work in a new season of opportunity and that it wouldn’t be long before approaches were made by various authorities to the Christian Church for prayerful and practical support. This is now happening before our eyes, and is part of our Lord’s ‘wake-up call’ to His Church – to be Church as it needs to be.”

All are welcome to come to the next meeting on Monday October 15 at 7.30pm at House of Prayer, on Fishergate, Norwich, NR3 1SE

Nigel said, “We are also really looking forward to the following session, planned for 19th November, when we can hear from Marie Reavey about the exciting new development and the link between prayerful Christians and Norfolk Constabulary – called ‘Faith + Police Together’.”
