An opportunity to come aside and rest a while

David Males will be leading a series of retreats at the Quiet Waters Christian Centre in Bungay on the theme of ‘seeking God’s healing grace’.

The morning of each day will start with a time of praise and prayer, followed by a Bible-based talk and discussion on how we might prepare ourselves to come into the Lord’s presence. Looking at the Good News of the Kingdom and the Cross will help participants to better understand God’s overwhelming generosity and love.

After coffee retreatants will spend the rest of the morning seeking the healing grace of Jesus for themselves and for those they love.

In the afternoon David Males will look further at the wonders God has for all of us, His precious children. Finally, he will explore how we might hear His voice and then participants will spend time seeking Him through a meditation based on John 4 (the woman at the well).

Three standalone retreats will take place on Friday June 10, Saturday July 23 and Friday August 19, each beginning at 10am. The retreats are based on teachings of Mike Endicott, Rev Prior of the Order of Jacob’s Well.

Cost is £25 for the day to include cooked lunch, refreshments and retreat handouts. To book your place, or for more information, please contact Quiet Waters Christian Retreat on mail@quietwaters.org.uk 01986 893201.
