Norwich choir's Christmas concert for hospices
The Phoenix Male Voice Choir will be performing their Christmas concert at Mile Cross Methodist Church in aid of East Anglia's Children's Hospices.
The group will present ‘Christmas at Home’, their festive programme of male voice choral song for 2022.
Featuring well-known Christmas carols, seasonal songs, and opportunities for our audience to join in, the evening also features solo contributions from within its own singing ranks and from the accompanist’s piano. The Choir is led as usual by its long-standing Musical Director Sarah Grimes and the Choir Accompanist is Jason Lambert.
The concert takes place on Saturday December 10 and starts at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm). Refreshments will be on hand during the interval, and it promises to be an enjoyable and friendly evening of festive choral song and music. Expected finish is 9.45pm.
Tickets (£8) are now on sale from the Choir's Website at: NorwichPhoenixMVC.org/tix with admittance on the night for non-ticket holders from 7.00pm, with all major debit and credit cards accepted at the door.
The Choir are supporting the work in Norfolk of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) as its Charity of the Year during 2022 and will be holding a charity raffle and a retiring bucket collection at the concert, all proceeds of which will be donated to this most worthy cause.
Representatives from EACH will give a presentation of their work and the Choir will make a formal presentation to the charity of the proceeds of its raffles and retiring collections held throughout the year.
The venue is Mile Cross Methodist Church, 341 Aylsham Road, Norwich NR3 2RU.
