Norfolk home needs Registered Care Manager 

Christian Residential Care Home Quebec Hall Limited, near Dereham in Norfolk, is seeking to recruit a Registered Care Manager. 

Quebec Hall Limited is a Christian Residential Care Home and independent living bungalow complex which is a not-for profit organisation. We are situated about ¾ of a mile from the centre of Dereham in mid-Norfolk.
 
The Home itself is a Grade 2 listed building and, within its grounds, is surrounded by 43 bungalows all with alarm pull cords, (these do not form part of the residential care accommodation).
 
Quebec Hall provides full residential care for up to 22 residents who have reached statutory retirement age. It can cater for both men and woman, including married couples. We have been looking after folk in the home for 63 years.

We believe that this will be an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team to help steer us forward.
You would be accountable to our Trustees and work very closely with our General Manager and Deputy Care Manager.
 
We are looking for a Christian Registered Care Manager to deliver quality care to the residents of Quebec Hall and to ensure that all areas of the home are clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
 
Also to always maintain a pleasant and harmonious lifestyle for residents and to provide effective clinical leadership, governance and management. To ensure the delivery of high-quality holistic care and to create a caring environment conducive to individual needs.
 
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated person who is a team player with a positive attitude, keen to be involved in helping us develop our service and who has a desire and passion for supporting people to enjoy life to the full.

The role requires a high level of interaction and communication with our residents and staff therefore require  strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must provide a service based on respect and carry out the role with promptness and politeness at all times.

The successful candidate will be flexible in their working days, which may be changeable week to week depending on the needs of the residents and team. Working times will include weekends, evenings and nights, particularly in relation to on-call responsibilities.

This job is full-time, permanent.

Experience required:
Care Home Management: 2 years. Licence/Certification: NVQ Level 5 Qualification
