Travel companion volunteers needed in Norfolk

Age UK Norfolk need Travel Companion volunteers for older people across Norfolk.

Do you like getting out and about and meeting new people?

Our Travel Companion volunteers accompany older people in Norfolk on journeys that they need to make; this could be a walk to the shops, getting on the bus to travel into town or making their way to an important appointment. Over a period of time, we help to rebuild confidence so that the people we are accompanying can happily make these journeys alone again.

We are searching for friendly, patient volunteers who can join our Travel Companions team and help older people across Norfolk regain their independence.
