Meet the Authors at Green Pastures in Dereham

Green Pastures is providing an opportunity to meet two authors who will share their stories and respond to questions in an informal atmosphere.

This event has now been cancelled due to the Coronavirus situation

The event will take place on Friday March 27 at 7pm at Dereham Baptist Church in Dereham.

Emily Owen, the award-winning author of 'The Power of Seven' and 'Still Emily', began writing following a traumatic medical diagnosis which turned her life upside down leaving her profoundly deaf.

Jane Clamp, author of 'Too Soon' and active member of the Association of Christian Writers, will join with Emily to explore finding contentment in the midst of difficult and challenging circumstances.

Jane, who writes for BBC Radio Norfolk, Network Norfolk and Premier Radio, lost her babies while trying for a second child 20 years ago.  Her heartfelt account: Too Soon – a Mother’s Journey Through Miscarriage – a 30-day devotional was published by SPCK. It offers hope and comfort with honest and helpful insights to chart a way through the darkness.

Green Pastures is a Christian bookshop ministry in Dereham, which provides not just books and cards, but also an opportunity to get drinks and talk with the friendly staff.

Admission to the Meet the Author event will be entirely free and refreshments will be provided.
