Hear from Far East missionaries in Cromer

2017: There will be an opportunity to hear from missionaries working with OMF in Japan, Cambodia and Thailand at Cromer Baptist Church from 10am to 1pm on Saturday April 1. Tony Rothe reports.

The theme of the morning will be: “A Task Unfinished – From the UK Far-East to the Global Far-East!” The event is organised by the North Norfolk OMF prayer group, and will provide an opportunity to hear about God’s work in three countries in the Far East: Japan, Thailand and Cambodia.
The speakers will be Peter and Janet, pictured above, working in Japan, Andrew (tribal work in Thailand) and Alex and Marguerite (Cambodia).
Tim Jenkins from OMF says “All are invited to an event looking at the 'Unfinished Task' of the Great Commission. We will consider why the task remains unfinished and what can be done to finish the task. You'll also meet new candidates and be able to catch up with old friends. There's no need to book - just turn up with a packed lunch and enjoy fellowship together.”
Packed lunches may be eaten in the church at the end of the session (coffee/ tea/ fruit juice provided) giving an opportunity for informal conversation with the speakers and other missionaries who will be present.
Cromer Baptist Church is in Church Street, in the centre of the town, about ten minutes’ walk from Cromer rail station. There are pay and display carparks in the town or on-street parking about five to ten minutes’ walk away. Postcode NR27 9ES.
The North Norfolk OMF prayer group meets on Monday afternoons at roughly six-week intervals in a home in Cromer. The group, relaunched in July 2013, currently has ten members and they pray for the missionaries who will be speaking at the meeting on April 1.
New members welcome. Details from 01263 517086 or janetandderekhann@gmail.com

OMF seeks to mobilise people, prayer and resources for mission to East Asians both here and overseas, in fellowship with UK churches and other organisations. Their vision is to see the church encourage and support the establishing of reproducing communities of believers in East Asia.
