Outreach equipping conference set for Norfolk

Hope Church in Wymondham is set to host Harvest 2023 – an outreach equipping conference with guest speakers Adrian Holloway and Dominic Muir – in late September.

“This conference is for all Christian believers wanting to grow and be used by God,” said Matt Heard from Hope Church. “It came from a time with the Lord where he revealed the need to train and equip workers for the upcoming harvest of multitudes of new believers.

“Hosted by Hope Church, the conference will equip normal believers to reach out with good news of the Kingdom in their everyday circumstances. We will have an outreach time on the Saturday to practice what we have learnt.”

“We are really privileged to have two outstanding men of God who will impart and teach us during our time,” said Matt.

Dominic Muir had a life-changing encounter with the love, power and presence of Jesus Christ whilst doing an Alpha course in 2002. He has since spent 14 years amongst odd jobs, painting fences and times of wilderness, as an evangelist, teacher, author (God Hunger: Meditations from a Life of Longing) and revivalist with a passion for street ministry and the priesthood of all believers. He also founded David's Tent in 2011, a three-day annual Christian worship event.

In May 2005 Dominic founded Now Believe ministries initially as a web-based evangelistic venture. This then extended to leading street evangelism teams all over the world, as well as ministering at Crusade style outreaches.

Adrian Holloway is a former BBC radio and TV presenter, who started working life as a reporter on The Times newspaper. His book "The Shock of Your Life" has been translated into many languages. The sequel, 'Aftershock' tackles the most common objections to Christianity in the form of a novel.

Along with wife Julia, Adrian has led and served at Christchurch London, Everyday Church in Wimbledon and Beacon Church in Camberley. Meanwhile, Adrian continues to serve churches, including many Newfrontiers ones, all over the UK as a visiting speaker. His itinerant ministry is funded through a charitable trust called The John 3:16 Trust.

The conference takes place on Friday September 22 (7.30-9.30pm) and Saturday September 23 (10am to 9.30pm) at The Hub, Wymondham, NR18 0QJ. Doors open for refreshments 30 minutes before.

Tickets at £25, youth £10, family £50, online £8, and more details are available at: hopewymondham.churchsuite.com/events/mmcue6at
