marsham earth day 750CF
Earth Day at Marsham Parish Church

Come and discover what ‘living lightly on the earth’ might mean for you at Marsham Church this Saturday.

This event aims to support people in the art of living lightly on the earth.  The organisers say that as we all make our response to the widely acknowledged climate emergency it is good to find out more about what we can do as individuals and as community.

There will be presentations from guest speakers throughout the day as well as information stall holders and activities for both adults and children.  Everything from sustainable healthcare to composting, from recycling to hedgehog rescue.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day and there is also a prize draw and other fundraising activity to support the church.

Rev Canon Julie Boyd, Rector for the church says, “We hope that lots of people will come to our Earth Day this year.  We have a programme of excellent guest speakers as well as information provided through the many stall holders who are coming and activities for children and adults to enjoy together.”

Earth Day takes place between 10am and 4pm this Saturday, July 13, at Marsham Parish Church, Church Lane, (off the A140), Marsham, NR10 5PP. Entry is free.
