Healthy environment day set for Norwich
Norwich Friends of the Earth are organising an event on June 10 at the Forum, involving over 20 environmental organisations, plus a series of talks at St Peter Mancroft church as part of 'Great Big Green Week'.
The Great Big Green Week is a national celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.
This year the event focuses on the theme ‘Norfolk’s Healthy Environment’, encompassing four aspects: Land, Air, Water and Urban environments. On Saturday 10 June find an array of stands outside The Forum representing organisations involved in maintaining and celebrating Norfolk’s environment. Find out what YOU can do to help your local environment, protect green spaces and tackle climate change.
Visit an exciting selection of environmental organisations outside and listen to four short talks on themes of our Land, Air, Water and Urban environments, followed by a panel discussion inside.
Saturday 10th June 10am-4pm outside the Forum. Talks start at 2.30pm at St Peter Mancroft Church.
